BOLT SIGHTS SET ON FIFTH WORLD TITLE
The 2025 FIM SuperEnduro Championship enters it’s penultimate round this weekend over in the UK, and Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Billy Bolt remains in full control of the championship after taking five from five round wins. Round 5 hosted in Budapest, Hungary saw one of the shortest tracks of the season so far, in which Bolt secured a second-place SuperPole finish and a 1-2-1 race result.

It’s been in sight from the very beginning that Bolt would be eyeing up a fifth consecutive World SuperEnduro title, as the season kicked off back in December. Bolt was poised to continue his winning streak, in which the Brit has very much done so in a not-so-subtle way after dominating every round of the season so far.

Bolt won his first SuperEnduro title back in 2020, and went on to secure the title again in 2022, 2023 and 2024, each with Husqvarna, and only missing 2021 due to season being cancelled, thanks to that ol’ COVID-19 pandemic. Securing the 2025 championship, which is undoubtedly on the cards, would make it five in a row for both Bolt and Husqvarna – only one off Polish rider Tadeusz Blazusiak whom secured six titles in a row from 2010 to 2015 with KTM.

Bolt holds an 85-point championship lead with two rounds remaining, with Round 6 of the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship held on March 1, in Bolt’s home town of Newcastle in the United Kingdom.
