Product: Ballard’s Swag-In-A-Bag
Back in 2013, when Transmoto’s Andy Wigan travelled to Portugal to watch Tasmania’s Matt Phillips race in his debut EnduroGP World Championship season, the first thing he saw when he rocked up was an Aussie crawling out of his swag at the back of the Portuguese pit paddock. Yep, Australian off-road icon, Geoff Ballard, who was also there as a spectator. Why the cheap digs for a bloke who isn’t short of a quid? Well, Geoff still values the quality of sleep and convenience that a swag offers. In fact, you could say he’s a connoisseur of all things swag, and has been for most of his life. And that’s exactly why the Ballard’s Swag-in-a-Bag is such a good thing. Its design has evolved through years of trial and error and tinkering and, as this video of GB introducing you to his Swag-in-a-Bag reveals, it’s full of clever, practical features.

For the record, Matt Phillips (a rider who Ballard actually introduced to enduro racing through his own race team in 2011) won the EJ (Under 23) world title that year and, as many of you will now know, has gone on to become a four-time EnduroGP World Champion.
