AMA SUPERCROSS HIGHLIGHTS: ST LOUIS

2 years ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: Honda HRC

With a weekend off in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross calendar, let’s revisit the chaotic triple crown event at St. Louis. Australian rider, Hunter Lawrence, clinched his first 450SX podium, while his brother, Jett, endured a heavy impact from GASGAS racer Justin Barcia but maintained his championship lead.

“This was an awesome pat on the back for all the hard work. It was a wild night of events, but we’ll take the result; I’m very happy with what we got. My riding’s been getting better, so hopefully this kicks in a little bit more momentum for the last couple of rounds. We’d love to get a conventional podium, with no penalties for anyone, so that’s next on the list.” – Hunter Lawrence
