VIDEO: BILLY BOLT IS BACK!

Five-time world champion Billy Bolt is primed for his return to racing at the Sea to Sky event in Kemer, Turkey, set to take place this weekend. This marks round six of the 2024 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. The Husqvarna Factory Racing rider has been out of action since undergoing knee surgery in March but is now ready to hit the track once again on his trusted TE300.

Bolt had a stellar run during the 2023 Hard Enduro season, securing four podium finishes and finishing the series in second place overall. He followed that up by dominating the indoor season, clinching his fourth consecutive FIM SuperEnduro World Championship title in front of his home crowd in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Unfortunately, a knee injury suffered during the German round of the SuperEnduro series led to surgery, which has kept the British rider sidelined since March.

Now fully recovered, Bolt is eager to make the most of the final two rounds of the 2024 Hard Enduro season, starting with Sea to Sky in Turkey before heading to the Hixpania Hard Enduro from October 25-27. After these events, his attention will shift to defending his SuperEnduro title when the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship kicks off on December 14 in Gliwice, Poland.

Billy Bolt expressed his excitement about returning to competition: “I’m buzzing to get back out there! I had hoped to race at TKO, but my recovery ended up taking a bit longer than anticipated. I’ve been back on the bike for just over a month now, focusing on training and testing with the team, and I feel ready. Racing is the best way to get back into the rhythm, so I’m approaching Sea to Sky with no pressure, just eager to get out there and ride the two-stroke again. It’s been a while since I last raced at GetzenRodeo, so I’m keen to see how my performance stacks up after all this time off. My main goal is to build on the progress I’ve made during training and aim for a strong finish at Hixpania to cap off the year.”
