JEMMA WILSON’S CAMP OUT

2 years ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: Bevpix

Since 2016, Jemma Wilson’s Camp Outs have grown into an epic event for female off-road riders across the country. As 2024 draws to a close, there are just two more chances to be part of these awesome weekends.

The Camp Outs are a premier coaching event designed to elevate off-road riding skills. Jemma Wilson, a 5-Time World Enduro Champion and 4-Time Australian Off-road Champion, along with other leading riders and coaches, will share their expertise in a supportive and non-intimidating environment. It’s about stepping out of your comfort zone and gaining both knowledge and confidence on your bike.

Over the weekend, participants will delve into:

  • Basic Riding Techniques: Master the essentials like standing position, braking, and cornering.
  • Off-road Obstacles: Learn how to tackle jumps, logs, and hills with confidence.
  • Bike Maintenance: Discover the best ways to load and unload your bike and pick up handy maintenance tips.

The best part? Everyone works at their own pace in a relaxed, inspiring ladies-only environment, making it an ideal setting to grow and learn without pressure.

Mark Your Calendars:

  • 19/20 October 2024 – Bright, VIC
  • 2/3 November 2024 – Monkerai, NSW

What makes these Camp Outs so great? They’re held on private properties that offer unique and breath-taking settings. Participants benefit from the guidance of epic coaches who will both inspire and support them, with the added thrill of a Hard Enduro Option available in Victoria. The events are fully catered, so you don’t have to worry about a thing, and there are plenty of prizes and goodies to enjoy. Plus, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet incredible women who share your passion for riding, so you can form lasting friendships and riding partnerships!
