RED BULL ROMANIACS 2024 – PROLOGUE

8 months ago | Words: Matt Bernard

Thousands of spectators gathered in Sibiu’s city centre for the Red Bull Romaniacs prologue where Jonny Walker showcased his exceptional SuperEnduro skills and claimed victory. Jonny grabbed the holeshot and navigated the challenging course with precision, overcoming doubles and obstacles with ease. Mani, who was initially close behind, fell early in the tires section due to water, allowing Jonny to extend his lead and finish strong despite a few minor mistakes.

The prologue, held on Bulevardul Coposu, featured an intimidating array of eighty tons of rocks, logs, concrete, tires, and water. This year, Andy Fazekas, the mastermind behind the course, revamped the layout by relocating the start line and doubling the number of obstacles to twenty-two, ensuring relentless challenges from start to finish.
