TESTED: TENERE 700 WORLD RAID

Just how different is Yamaha’s all-new Tenere 700 World Raid model relative to the ‘standard’ Tenere 700 it’s based on? How do those design and component changes translate when it comes to differences in real-world performance – for both road and off-road use? And can the World Raid’s $5500 price tag premium be justified? Or not?

To answer those regularly asked questions and more, we grabbed a couple of Tenere World Raid models and put them through their adventurous paces on a wide variety of terrain – and in the hands of a cross-section of test riders – for a month. Here’s what we took out of that enlightening experience…
