7plus & WSX.tv TO BROADCAST THE 2023 FOX AUSTRALIAN SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP LIVE & FREE

Australia’s #1 network, the Seven Network, will broadcast every round of the 2023 FOX Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) on 7plus, live and free, in a win for supercross fans around the country. The on-air action kicks off with round one, this Saturday 7th October, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre from 5.45pm (AEST).

Additionally, in a boost for the event’s global eyeballs, the championship will be beamed internationally, via WSX.tv’s Freemium service. The broadcast will feature exclusive AUSX content including behind the scenes access & interviews in addition to a four-hour racing package.

Championship Director, Kelly Bailey, is thrilled to partner with Seven again and deliver widespread reach across Australia, as well as now offering the WSX.tv streaming option to international fans.

“The Seven Network’s support and coverage in 2022 was incredible, and we’re delighted to have them on board again in 2023 as our broadcast partner,” said Bailey.

“Being able to offer the entire championship LIVE & FREE is a huge win for fans – the more opportunities to showcase our electrifying sport, and incredible athletes, to more people, the better.

“With 10% of our riders being international, and a growing global supercross fanbase, we’re pleased to partner with WSX to provide a new way to watch from outside of Australia. With the likes of Justin Brayton (USA), Dean Wilson (UK), Max Anstie (UK), Josh Hill (USA) and Robbie Wageman (USA) riding, the calibre of racing is going to be first-class.

“With every Heat, LCQ and Final across SX1, SX1, SX3 & the 85cc CR22 Cup covered in the live broadcast on 7plus and WSX.tv, the FOX Australian Supercross Championship, will reach more people than ever before in 2023.”

Experienced Australian duo, Lee Hogan and Danny Ham, will call all the action from the booth, with expert analysis and commentary from Kamryn Williams and two-time world champion, Chad Reed.

In terms of racing, five-time and defending SX1 champion, Brayton, will be the man to beat in the main event, with last year’s podium finishers Australian’s Matt Moss and Aaron Tanti hot on his heels. Defending SX2 champion, Anstie, will attempt to go back-to-back in the 250 class, with Cole Thompson, Nathan Crawford and Rhy Budd also in the mix. The SX3 and 85cc classes have attracted a record number of entrants with competition set to be healthy across the board as gates drop.
