After news of Ducati and Nick Selleck taking on the Finke there-and-back circuit, we’ve been stinging for the video.
Ducati just uploaded the first taste of the upcoming short film, Mission: Un-Finkeable, documenting the project that saw Ducati Product Specialist and DRE Adventure Academy Chief Instructor, Nick Selleck, riding a showroom-spec Ducati DesertX on the legendary Finke track, which runs between Alice Springs and the Aputula community, also known as Finke.
To showcase the DesertX’s true off-road chops, Selleck rode the freshly beaten-up track to Finke and back, in just one day. Some 460km, using less than one tank (plus factory-fitted auxiliary tank) of fuel. At present, we have no idea how his hands survived, but suspect they got a hammering… For a taste, check the trailer below…
