BILLY BOLT BRACES FOR BATTLE IN HEWC

Billy Bolt, the reigning FIM SuperEnduro World Champion, is pumped for the start of the 2023 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. As a rider for Husqvarna Factory Racing, Bolt is looking forward to the seven-round series and has his sights set on taking home the championship title.

“I’m feeling fit and ready for success,” Bolt said. “I dominated the SuperEnduro season, and while that’s not exactly the same as hard enduro, it’s great to start the year on a high note.”

Bolt knows that switching from indoor to outdoor enduro won’t be easy. He’ll need to adapt to different terrain, weather conditions, and the intensity of the races. Plus, he’s switching from four-stroke to two-stroke machinery, using his TE300 for most of the races.

“It’s a big challenge, but I’m up for it,” Bolt said. “I won the hard enduro world title in 2021, but my 2022 season was cut short by injury. So, I’m extra motivated to win this year.”

The 2023 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship kicks off on May 17-20 with Serbia’s Xross Hard Enduro Rally.

“I’m excited to get back to the hard enduro scene and show what I can do,” Bolt said. “I feel confident on my bike, and I have a great team supporting me. Winning a world title takes a team effort, and I’m confident that we can finish the season on top.”

Bolt knows that anything less than winning the championship won’t cut it.

“When you’ve won a title in the past, you can’t settle for anything less,” Bolt said. “My goal is to win, and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got.”
