CHARLI (THE) CANNON

3 years ago | Words: Miller Mendham | Photos: Yamaha Motor Australia

As women’s motocross continues to grow in Australia, we’re seeing some crazy fast riders step up to the plate. And here’s another up-and-comer who’s ready to mix it in the big league. We already knew that 16-year-old Charli Cannon was quick, but with the recent announcement that she’s joined Rhys Budd and Alex Larwood on the Yamalube Yamaha Racing Team for 2022, we reckon this multiple state and national Junior Girl’s MX champ might just bag a few more titles. Check out this video of the Sunshine Coast-based Cannon in action. Shades of multiple Women’s MX World champ, Courtney Duncan, eh?!
