2013 Sherco Enduro Models
The 2013 Sherco models were recently unveiled, with some exciting new changes that will be sure to get all the enduro-nuts frothing. The majority of the range remains unchanged from 2012, however some select models have undergone notable transformations.
Firstly, the SE250i and SE250i-R have been subjected to large amounts of engine and chassis modifications. The engine work includes a redesigned cylinder head, lightened clutch, strengthened crankcase, optimized gearbox ratios and a slightly modified injection curve. The chassis modifications to the 2013 model include a redesigned radiator and fuel tank, reinforced frame, suspension modifications (minor) and a new skid plate and hand guards.
The other models to have undergone any notable changes are the SE300i and SE300i-R. The engine changes on the 300cc models include a new crankshaft and cylinder, designed to give a longer stroke, which offers smoother power delivery. Additional changes include a redesigned cylinder head, new camshafts, lightened clutch and strengthened crankcase. All the chassis modifications are common to that of the 250cc models.
Unfortunately, for all those who crave the horsepower of the big bore SE450i-R and SE510i-R models, there are no new changes for 2013, apart from a fresh new set of graphics.
All model prices remain unchanged from 2012:
- $11290 for the SE250i
- $11490 for the SE300i
- $11790 for the SE450i
- $11990 for the SE510i
At this stage, the 2013 shipment is due to arrive in Australia mid-November. We’ll keep you posted on any changes.
