Daniel Milner: First A4DE ‘Triple Crown’

8 years ago | Photos: Salvatore Aloisio

KTM’s Daniel Milner has completed a perfect four days at Cessnock’s 2018 Yamaha Australian 4-Day Enduro (A4DE). The 26-year-old clinched his first E3-class title, his fifth Outright victory, and became the first rider to put his name next to the 4-Day’s ‘triple crown’ – an Outright win in the E1, E2 and E3 classes.
Immediately after Milner dominated the E3 class’s Day 4 final moto, Transmoto’s Andy Wigan caught up with Australia’s enduro supremo to get his take on what was widely regarded as one of the toughest A4DEs in the event’s 40-year history. Anyone else sense a fresh streak of professionalism in the Victorian larrikin?
