2017 Huskys: Weight Savings & Specs
As outlined in our ride impression on Husky’s 2017 year-model enduro range, Husqvarna’s entire range of enduro models has come in for substantial weight savings this year – anywhere between 1.5kg and 6kg, depending on the model.
For more detail on how much weight each model lost for 2017, check out the tables we’ve put together below. As you can see, the shared upgrades to battery, subframe, fork, frame and shock absorber add up to more than 3.5kg. Combined with most models’ lighter engines, you can see the total weight savings for each bike.
Husqvarna didn’t make engine weights available for the 2017 TE250 and TE350. But seeing as these models have ‘only’ lost 2.0kg, you can easily work out that their 2017 engines must be about 1.5kg heavier than their predecessors. How so? Well, that would be accounted for by the first-time addition of a counter-balancer, introduced to drastically reduced vibration levels.
Also attached below is a specs table for Husqvarna’s entire 2017 enduro range.
