INJURED RIDER MEETS PARAMEDICS

A few months back, we got a call from a reader called Ryan King who’d broken his neck in a crash, came within a whisker of dying and, after a long recovery process, wanted to impart the lessons he learned from the experience. If you’ve ever ventured into remote bushland on a  dirt bike, whether alone or with mates, you need to read Ryan’s invaluable advice.

Ryan then contacted us again a couple of weeks ago, this time to let us know that, “After a media liaison person read the Transmoto article, I was approached by Ambulance Victoria to do a story about me reuniting with the paramedics who attended the scene.”

Both the Herald Sun’s news piece and Channel 7 news story make for a great, feel-good follow-up to to the young father’s initiative. As the man who dodged death by half a millimetre said, “It’s amazing how many people I’ve met who have read the article after it had been reposted on various forums and social media sites. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to tell my story, Transmoto.
