2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals dates and locations

Following a successful series this year, Williams Event Management (WEM) has announced the calendar for the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals. Draft dates for the 2015 and 2016 seasons have also been announced.

Next year’s championship series will be conducted over 10 rounds, and will visit Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

MX1 and MX2 riders will contest all 10 rounds, while the MXD (Under 19s) riders will contest eight rounds. The Vets championship will be contested over two rounds.

WEM is currently looking at the possibility of running some rounds on a Saturday, in an effort to help grow the spectator attendance.

Specific class breakdowns for venues will be announced within the next three weeks, including support classes.

WEM is currently working with the Motocross Commission, and will have announcements on the race schedules and formats within the next few weeks.

“We are working hard to have all of this finalised by the end of October, so people will have plenty of time to prepare for the new season,” said WEM’s Kevin Williams.
