The team is a combination of new and returning faces, with Mitchell Evans returning for a third year and Hunter Lawrence and Joel Milesevic returning for a second, alongside World Championship debutantes Riley Dukes, Caleb Grothues and Egan Mastin.
Returning team member Evans will be looking to build on his previous successes in the 65cc and 85cc classes, while Milesevic will be seeking to consolidate this 125cc performance from last year. Fellow 2011 team member Hunter Lawrence will step up from the 65cc to contest the 85cc class.
Team Manager Mark Willingham is thrilled with the calibre of the 2012 Australian Team, and is looking forward to seeing what the team achieve.
“Australia has fielded great teams to the Junior Motocross World Championships over the past three years, and this team is no exception,” Willingham said.
“We have selected six exceptional riders from four different Aussie states, with an exciting mix of experience and new opportunities, and I’m looking forward to working with them over the coming weeks.
“All the riders are pumped to represent their country and are definitely up for the challenge of an international event – I can’t wait to see what each of them will bring to the world stage.”
