8-Hour @ Stroud: On Sale Soon

7 years ago

Entries for the fifth annual running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud, powered by KTM, will go on sale next week, with previous event entrants and Transmoto Tribe members receiving 24-hour and 48-hour priority-entry access*, respectively (see below for details).
So round up your mates, dust off your camping gear, get your bike and body and roadtrip plans in order, and clear your schedule for the October 19-20 weekend because you’ll need to get in quick when entries go on sale next week. Entries are strictly capped at 500 riders this year, so we expect the 8-Hour will sell out fast again.

WHAT CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE?

There will be a limited number of entries for the Ironman and Pairs classes, and plenty of positions available in the Team class (you’ve got the option of entering as a team of 3 or 4 riders).
We will also be staging a non-competitive fun loop for Junior riders (aged between nine and 15) on Saturday, October 19.

TEAM CATEGORIES

Remember that all Teams must enter under one of six ‘Team Categories’:

  • Weekend Warriors (no rider to have ever raced professionally);
  • Young Guns (all riders under 23);
  • Wise Wizards (average age of at least 50);
  • Mixed (at least one female rider);
  • Wonder Women (all female riders); or
  • Open (general team entry, if you’re not eligible for any of the above Categories).

Teams of 3 and Teams of 4 will be grouped together for the Class and Outright results, but entering in a relevant Team Category will increase your team’s chances of taking home a trophy.

*PRIORITY ENTRY

In appreciation of their support, Transmoto Tribe members and previous Transmoto Enduro Event entrants will be offered a 48-hour and 24-hour priority entry into the 2019 8-Hour at Stroud, respectively. Then, at 4pm AEST on Friday, August 23, entries will go live to the public.
If you want to avoid the risk of missing out, the only way to guarantee yourself an entry before the 8-Hour sells out is to be a Transmoto Tribe member. The 48-hour priority-entry access to all Transmoto Enduro Events is just one of the many perks of a Tribe membership. Click here to find out more.
