We recently headed to France for the highly anticipated 2025 Sherco World Media Launch. Despite some challenging weather, we got the inside scoop on Sherco’s latest upgrades and put the full range to the test. From redesigned frames to performance-enhancing tweaks, the new line-up brings plenty to be excited about. Here are five quick facts you need to know about the 2025 Sherco range and what makes these bikes a top choice for enduro riders.

1. New Steering System for Enhanced Precision & Agility

Sherco has re-engineered the steering tube with a smaller upper bearing, creating a more flexible upper and lower clamp set-up. This upgrade allows better front wheel feedback and handling precision in technical conditions. The new steering pipe is also lighter, contributing to the bike’s overall weight reduction without compromising the sturdy feel that Sherco riders appreciate.

2. Improved Rear Suspension Performance

The 2025 Sherco range includes a forged attachment point for the KYB rear shock absorber, enhancing performance on rocky and uneven terrain. This new design minimises the transmission of impacts to the rider, resulting in a more stable and responsive ride. Additionally, the forging process increases the durability of the attachment point, ensuring the KYB suspension system withstands the rigours of demanding enduro riding.

3. Frame & Weight Reduction for Better Handling

With redesigned lower frame tubes, Sherco has achieved a more stable, controlled feel, especially during aggressive riding. The new frame shape improves handling responsiveness while also trimming weight, enhancing agility and making the bike easier to manoeuvre in tight, technical sections. Sherco’s engineers have meticulously analysed every part to optimise material use and reduce weight, all in the name of better performance.

4. Redesigned Airbox for Easier Maintenance & Enhanced Airflow

The 2025 Sherco range debuts a completely redesigned airbox, addressing accessibility issues from previous models. The new airbox setup not only simplifies filter changes – allowing riders to access and replace filters more quickly – but also enhances airflow, which contributes to more efficient engine performance. This update aligns with Sherco’s focus on user-friendly maintenance, making a noticeable difference for both trailriders and competitive racers who require quick, easy servicing in varied conditions.

5. Engine Upgrades for Power & Efficiency

Sherco’s 300 four-stroke now features a new camshaft cover with improved bearing flexibility, which raises the engine’s RPM range by 300 and delivers smoother power. Adjustments to the ignition and injection systems boost responsiveness, making the engine both more robust and efficient. This update supports higher demands during races and challenging rides, helping riders push harder with greater confidence in the engine’s reliability.

These updates, paired with improved bodywork ergonomics and durable in-mould graphics, make the 2025 Sherco models an exciting choice for riders seeking both competitive performance and a refined riding experience.
