It’s always fascinating to get a Pro racer’s take on the performance of a production bike for the simple reason that Pros rarely, if ever, ride one. So, after sampling KTM’s new-generation range of 2023-model MX machines at the recent media launch, what does the 2015 Australian MX1 Champion, Kirk Gibbs, think about these all-new bikes? How big a deal is the new “anti-squat” chassis concept? And how different (or close) is the 2023 production 450SX-F to his current race bike?
