What is it?
The Transmoto 12-Hour is a unique, team-based event that sits somewhere between a recreational trailbike rally and an enduro race. First staged in 2011, it’s a dirt bike event that caters to riders of all levels, and focuses on fun-factor rather than officialdom.
Where is it?
The event is all held at a private property in the Buckenbowra State Forest – about 30km inland from Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast. Home to the 2006 A4DE and to rounds of the 2007 and 2010 AORC, the region offers some of the best riding terrain in the state.
When is it?
This year’s Transmoto 12-Hour – the sixth annual running of the event – will take place on the weekend of February 27-28, 2016. Registration starts at noon on Saturday, with racing on the Sunday. Because the 12-Hour sells out so quickly, priority entry is given to those who hold a current subscription to Transmoto magazine.
