X-GAMES MOTO-X BEST TRICK: AUSSIE DOMINATION

2 years ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: Brett Wilham/XGames

Aussie, Jackson Strong, made history at X Games Chiba 2023 by becoming the most dominant rider in Moto X Best Trick. With only two attempts, Strong unleashed an untucked no hander frontflip, scoring an impressive 96.33 points and securing the win. This victory marked Strong’s seventh gold medal in the discipline, making him the most successful Moto X Best Trick competitor in X Games history. Notably, he shares the record for most gold medals in a single Moto X discipline with Ronnie Renner and Travis Pastrana.

Harry Bink, hailing from Canberra, Australia, demonstrated his skills under pressure by executing a technical double backflip nac one-hander, earning him 95.00 points and the bronze medal. The podium at X Games Chiba was an all-Australian affair, with Strong taking first place, Rob Adelberg securing second, and Bink rounding it out with his bronze medal. This marked the first all-Aussie podium sweep since X Games Norway 2019. In total, Bink now possesses two bronze medals, both earned in Moto X Best Trick, while Strong’s X Games medal count stands at an impressive 14 (7 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze).
