‘UN-DISCLOSED’: FT. DUCATI’S DESERTX RALLY

Remember Ducati’s Un-Finkeable short firm back in 2023, which documented adventure rider, Nick Selleck, as he tackled the legendary Finke Desert Race track in both directions aboard a DesertX – some 460km of inhospitable NT terrain in one day and without refuelling? It was so good, Ducati even staged a big-screen premiere for it at Sydney’s ‘Little Italy’ – aka Leichhardt – at the Palace Theatre.

So, given that the ‘standard’ DesertX has now got an-specced ‘sequel’ in Australia, the DesertX Rally model, Ducati Australia has fittingly produced an actual sequel to Un-Finkeable, called Un-Disclosed. So far, we’ve only eyeballed the tantalising trailer for Un-Disclosed, so keep an eye out for the full feature, which is due to drop later this week.

According to Ducati Australia’s Head of Marketing, Alana Baratto, “The mission for Un-Disclosed was to showcase the dynamic abilities of the DesertX Rally through the extreme terrain of the Australian landscape, fitted with just a few genuine accessories including Termignoni full exhaust, crash protection and Pirelli Rally tyres.

“In the film, Ducati Adventure Specialist, Nick Selleck, will take us on a mystery adventure ride with Ducati colleague and Product Sponsor of the DesertX range, Andrea Rossi. Together, the two riders navigate the barren plains of the Australian desert through to the alpine peaks with some cultural delights along the way.

“In his first trip to Australia, Andrea not only was able to appreciate the diverse landscape, but also how well the DesertX Rally was able to perform in each of the extreme elements that had to be navigated and overcome,” Baratto went on to explain.

The full feature film will be released on Friday, January 24, at 7pm AEDT on this link: https://youtu.be/AFipKQQ687g.

In the meantime, you can watch the Un-Disclosed trailer here or across the Ducati Australia and New Zealand social media channels.
