KTM REVEALS INNOVATIVE NEW TECH & 2025 MODELS

Not content to wait until the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show itself – which gets underway in Milan on November 5-10 – KTM has decided to capitalise on their huge investment into this year’s EICMA show by drip-feeding the world’s motorcycle media a bunch of teaser info about the innovative new technologies and 2025 models that will be revealed in the flesh at the world-renowned Italian motorcycle show. According to KTM’s international PR, this strategy is all about, “solidifying the brand and its long-term vision by focusing on growing its portfolio and expanding its market presence”.

So, what will be taking centre stage for the Austrian manufacturer in November? Plenty! Here’s a snapshot of the “treats” KTM say they’ll have in store for us at EICMA, some of which already features on the new “Launchpad” section of KTM’s website:

  • KTM is setting the stage for a new era in motorcycle technology by introducing Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). This innovation is expected to revolutionize the way riders experience their motorcycles, bridging the gap between high-performance, hardcore riding and everyday comfort.
  • KTM is revolutionizing rider-motorcycle interaction for 2025 by combining all essential motorcycle information and interactive possibilities into one seamless system. This cutting-edge integration focuses on enhancing the rider’s experience. The all-new 8.8-inch TFT touch screen dash – available in both vertical and horizontal options – will increase the immersive experience with vastly improved UX and UI.
  • Gathering the full potential of the LC8 engine platform means KTM can enlarge the desirable KTM Super Adventure family. The 2025 KTM 1390 KTM Super Adventure (in both ‘S’ and ‘R’ models) are joined by the KTM 1390 KTM Super Adventure S EVO (with what KTM claim is some ground-breaking and unmissable new hardware).
  • KTM’s efforts with electric R&D and the march of tomorrow’s technology has led to significant steps with the new 2025 KTM SX-E 3 and KTM SX-E 5 minicycles and those first, vital rolling miles for junior riders. The revitalized KTM Freeride E program gets a jolt with the revolutionary 2025 KTM Freeride E.
  • And don’t forget the 2025 KTM 85SX, plus EICMA will see the debuts of the 2025 KTM 125 SMC R, KTM 390 SMC R, KTM 125 Enduro R and KTM 390 Enduro R.
