HAMPSHIRE ON HUSKY UNTIL 2025
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing and RJ Hampshire have announced that they will be continuing their partnership for the next two seasons of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), which includes the 2024 and 2025 AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross series.
Hampshire, who has been with the team since 2020, has signed a contract extension and will be riding the Husqvarna FC 250 for the next two years. The 27-year-old has had a strong performance so far with the team, winning three Pro Motocross 250MX overall wins, a 250SX Main Event victory, and multiple podium finishes across both championships.

Despite encountering various physical setbacks during the opening rounds of 250SX West this season, Hampshire currently holds second position in the standings and is determined to finish the remaining rounds in the best possible way. He also had a successful debut in the FC 450 at the Daytona Supercross, winning his Heat race and finishing eighth in the Main Event.
“I am thrilled to be signed with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing for another two years,” said Hampshire. “It is a blessing to have a team that believes in me as much as I believe in myself. We have continued to make progress year after year, and we all strive to be the best we can be. I look forward to bringing the Husqvarna FC250 back to the top for years to come.”
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager, Nathan Ramsey, expressed his excitement about welcoming Hampshire back through 2024 and 2025 and their aim to challenge for championships across the SMX series in this current season and beyond.

“Having RJ sign on to ride the FC 250 for two more years with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team is a huge win for all of us,” Ramsey said. “RJ is a true professional both on and off the track, and his warrior spirit is motivating for every person on our team. We are thrilled to continue working with RJ for the rest of his impressive 2023 year, as well as the future.”
Hampshire finished with a 13th at the recent mud fest supercross in East Rutherford, taking down Jett Lawrence in the final turn fighting in podium contention. Check out the vision below.
