DUCATI DESMO450 MX DEBUT: VIDEO SERIES – PT II

10 months ago | Words: Matt Holmes | Photos: Ducati Media House

Part II of Ducati’s 2024 450MX debut video series has just dropped. It showcases full-on race action from the Italian Pro-Prestige MX1 Motocross Championship, with Alessandro Lupino and Tony Cairoli both securing victories aboard the Desmo450 MX in what could only be called very challenging conditions.

On the day, Alessandro Lupino took the Overall win and secured the red plate as championship leader on what was an at-times unrideable track. But the story of the day for us was MXGP legend, Tony Cairoli, heading back onto the track in his debut with Ducati. Not content with just lapping for test data, he managed to win the first heat. Though, should we have expected anything less from the nine-time world champion?!

Some great insights from both riders and team personnel, alongside great race action, make it a good watch for the holiday season.
