TRANSMOTO’S ENGAGEMENT GROWS
It’s been just 3 years since Transmoto launched. In that short time the brand has grown to a point where it now talks to more dirt bike riders, through more channels, than any other motorcycle media outlet.
Traffic to Transdmoto.com.au is up 48% YOY. “More dirt bike enthusiasts look to Transmoto.com.au each month for the latest in the sport than buy the #1 selling magazine in the category,” says Andrew Hobbs, Transmoto’s Sales & Marketing Manager. “You couldn’t have made that statement about any dirt bike news website when we launched in 2010.”
Sales of Transmoto Dirt Bike Magazine remain constant despite a tough market. “We’re all massive fans of magazine media and the permanency or print”, says Editor–in-Chief, Andy Wigan. “Our recent investment in a heavier paper stock has really cemented our position on the newsstand as Australia’s premium magazine offering in this segment, while sales of digital subscriptions continue to grow”.
In another milestone for the business, Transmoto has become the first motorcycle media company in Australia to pass the 30,000 Facebook followers mark – making it the market leader in this key area. “This is great news for a new brand like Transmoto,” says Phil Osborn, Sales Director of Transmoto, Surfing World and Coastalwatch. “Our audience is growing every single day. These 30,000 followers represent more magazine readers, more website users and simply more people engaging with Transmoto. “
Founded in 2010, Transmoto is a new media company with a multi-channel print, digital and events approach. Transmoto Dirt Bike Magazine is an award-winning print and digital publication having captured two Magazine Publishers of Australia awards. Transmoto.com.au is Australia’s most popular motorcycle magazine-style website and the only website that covers all areas of the sport. The Transmoto 12-Hour event is a recreational event that is held annually and has sold out every year since it’s launch in 2011.
