TÉNÉRÉ RALLY CONQUERS THE OUTBACK

In a wild and dusty five-day escapade covering a whopping 2000km, participants of the 2023 Ténéré 700 Rally faced the ultimate test of grit and determination. All 52 riders roared back to Broken Hill’s Outback Resort without a hitch, proving that Yamaha’s 689cc parallel twin ADV machine is a true force to be reckoned with!

YMA’s Marketing Manager, Sean Goldhawk, exclaimed, “It was fantastic to offer these passionate Ténéré 700 owners an outback adventure that pushed their limits and showcased the full potential of their bikes.” Goldhawk’s words perfectly capture the spirit of the rally, which not only challenged the riders but also allowed them to unleash the true capabilities of their beloved Ténéré 700 machines.

Despite the challenging conditions, the rally-goers reveled in every moment of the trip. The journey kicked off in the lively town of Broken Hill, New South Wales, and led the fearless riders through the stunning landscapes of Wilpena Pound and the thrilling rock garden trails surrounding Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. From there, the group embarked on a thrilling northward journey, with a pit stop at Cameron Corner for an overnight camping adventure. And the grand finale? A heart-pounding 500km ride back to Broken Hill via Tibooburra and Silverton.

This incredible event marks the third in a series of exclusive Ténéré 700 Rallies organised by Yamaha’s preferred ADV event organizer, RideADV. But don’t fret if you missed out this time! In 2023, shorter two-day events are planned in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, promising more action-packed escapades for Ténéré 700 enthusiasts.
