2026 KTM AJMX Championship Dates Set
Victoria’s regional town of Mooroopna will play host to the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX), which is set to take place from September 28 until October 3 during the school holiday period. The event, run by the Greater Shepparton City Council in partnership with the Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club, will mark the 29th instalment of the elite national event for Australia’s up-and-comers.

The 2026 AJMX will bring together over 300 of Australia’s most talented junior male and female riders for a week of gripping competition in Mooroopna, just 5km from the major regional city of Shepparton. Champions will be crowned in 12 championship classes, from the 50cc 6-U9 entry-level category all the way up to upper-age juniors on 250cc four-stroke machinery.


The 2027 AJMX Championship will also be held in Mooroopna, again drawing riders, families, officials and spectators from all parts of the country as the next wave of Aussie motocross superstars are unearthed. Entries for the 2026 KTM AJMX Championship will open later the year.
