KTM & Husqvarna Extend Partnership with Transmoto Events
KTM Australia and Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia have officially extended their naming-rights partnership with Transmoto’s Enduro Events for a further three years.
Heading into its eighth year of staging unique, team-based dirt bike events, Transmoto has expanded its event program from five to seven venues for 2018, all of which are staged on picturesque private properties in the rural heartlands of NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
This expansion reflects a growing appetite for the core elements that Transmoto’s participation-based events deliver: roadtrips, camping, the chance to race your mates on epic tracks in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and a huge media footprint that showcases the experience. And with KTM and Husqvarna signing up until the end of 2020, Transmoto welcomes the opportunity to play an ongoing role with these two brands’ off-road activation programs.
According to General Manager for KTM and Husqvarna in Australia and New Zealand, Jeff Leisk, “The decision to extend our partnership with Transmoto Enduro Events for a further three years was an easy one to make, as our values on what an off-road event should offer the riding community are perfectly aligned. Supporting events is a key strategy of our brands as it ensures our loyal customers have opportunities to enjoy riding their bikes with family and friends at the best venues in Australia. The low pressure, laid-back atmosphere that has become a trademark of Transmoto’s events is refreshing to experience, and makes for an epic weekend of riding.”
Transmoto’s Brand Manager, Andy Wigan, was similarly upbeat about the deal: “We’re stoked to announce the extension of our partnership with KTM and Husqvarna for a further three years. KTM, Husqvarna and Transmoto share a passion for the sport, and all three brands understand the importance of investing into its future by making riding dirt bikes more accessible and fun for both new and existing enthusiasts. Running successful events is all about creating long-term relationships – with landowners, local communities, participants and sponsors – and we’re proud of our track record in that respect.”
Entries for the first of seven enduro events in 2018 – the March 3-4 Transmoto 12-Hour, powered by KTM & Husqvarna – are scheduled to go on sale in the back half of January, 2018. Stay tuned to Transmoto’s website and social media channels in the New Year for details.
