Check out the highlights from the opening round of the 2016 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the Hangtown Classic, held at Sacramento in California on May 21.
In the 450 Class, RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Ken Roczen made a strong opening statement in his quest for a second premier-class title, dominating both motos en route to claiming his seventh career win. In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy went 1-1 to secure his second career victory and take control of the early points lead.
