Highlights: 2016 Glen Helen Motocross
Check out the highlights from the second round of the 2016 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the Glen Helen National, held at San Bernardino in California on May 28.
After heartbreaking misfortune in the first moto ended RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing rider Ken Roczen’s hopes of back-to-back wins to start the 2016 season, defending 450 Class champ, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey seized the opportunity to secure his first victory of the season, finishing ahead of K-Roc and Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac.
In the 250 Class, it was a banner day for the Martin family as Alex Martin broke through for his first career win in his 83rd start, followed by his younger brother and reigning back-to-back champ, Jeremy Martin. It was the first time in history that siblings finished first and second, and also signified the first ever 1-2-3 finish for Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha following a third-place effort by Cooper Webb.
