Check out Transmoto‘s images from the 2016 Coffs Stadium MX event, staged at Coffs Harbour in New South Wales on Saturday, January 14.

While temperatures almost reaching 40 degrees celsius challenged the Stadium MX’s Juniors racing, the heavens opened up as the gates dropped for the first Senior race, adding an extra challenge; constant heavy rain making navigation difficult on an already difficult circuit. Some standout Juniors included Nate Thompson, Ryder Kingsford and Reid Taylor, with Rhys Budd and Hayden Matterson dominating the 125cc and 250cc Junior Lite classes.

The Pro Lites class produced some great racing, with mixed podium placings in each round. CRF Honda Australia Racing’s Kyle Webster took the Overall in the class, followed by BBR Yamaha’s Aaron Tanti and Yamaha Yamalube Racing’s Cooper Pozniak.

The Pro Open class was dominated by current MX National MX1 Champion, CDR Yamaha’s Dean Ferris, closely followed by DPH Motorsports Yamaha’s Kade Mosig and Aaron Tanti, who performed double-duty over the weekend.
