Dirt Bike Demo Days @ Stroud, NSW
Dirt Bike Demo Days recently offered up the latest off-road models from Husqvarna, KTM, Sherco and Yamaha to test back-to-back on Josh Green’s phenomenal private property at Stroud in New South Wales. Over 330 test rides were conducted on a 12-minute loop incorporating open and tight trail, bush and flowing grasstrack.
Local dealers, including Cessnock KTM, KTM Newcastle, Chris Watson Motorcycles, Graeme Boyd’s Yamaha Of Newcastle, Triple R Motorcycles, Auto Moto Garage and Pro Cycles, were all on hand to offer feedback about bikes and make sales on the day.

The crew from Monza Imports was also present, offering riders the chance to test POD MX kneebraces and Atlas neckbraces, and completed tech-talks on Repsol oils, Dunlop tyres and Oakley goggles. Force Accessories had their latest alloy protection equipment on display.
One lucky entrant, Scott Ratley, went home with a 3x3m Mountain Shade canopy, simply by participating, and heaps of other products from Dunlop, Oakley, Repsol and Force were given away. And to add to the excitement, a tyre changing competition took place to establish the quickest tyre changer on the Mid Coast. KTM Newcastle’s Myles Bowen won the industry class and Gordon Kerr won the riders class.

“The Dirt Bike Demo Days in Stroud has helped riders make valuable judgements regarding potential bike purchases,” said Dave Robbins from Dirt Bike Demo Days. “Dealers are reporting good follow-ups and sales, and POD MX and Atlas have been able to focus on addressing rider feedback on their products. The next Dirt Bike Demo Days will coincide with the release of the 2017 off-road models in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.”
