Daniel McCoy seriously injured

8 years ago | Photos: Arenacross UK

Australian supercross specialist, Daniel McCoy, has been seriously injured at the second round of the Arenacross UK series in Glasgow over the weekend.

McCoy, racing for the MVR-D Husqvarna team, sustained injuries to his lower back and currently has no feeling below his waist.

“Thank you everyone for the messages,” McCoy wrote on his personal Facebook page last night. “For those who don’t know, I had a crash last night, at this stage I have no feeling from the waist down, still waiting on surgeons to confirm what operations will be needed. Will keep everyone updated as news comes.”

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help McCoy with overseas treatment. Please donate now if you are able to.
