2017 Transmoto 12-Hour: Enter Soon
The Transmoto 12-Hour is now widely regarded as a not-to-be-missed do on the annual enduro calendar.
Since the event’s inception in 2011, Lyndon Heffernan’s lush private property in the picturesque Buckenbowra State Forest near Batemans Bay, NSW, has played host to hundreds of riders of all ages and backgrounds, who come from far and wide to ride against the clock and ride with their mates. For us, the 12-Hour is about enjoying the simple pleasure of riding a dirt bike for what it is, with a smile on your dial. The primary focus is fun, not officialdom. Combine loads of enjoyment with a dash of excitement and a hint of competitiveness, and we’ve got ourselves a tasty recipe that seems to satisfy all palettes.
The 2017 edition of the event will take place on March 25-26. Yep, that’s just under two months from now. So get on the blower and round up your mates, dust the cobwebs off your bike, prepare your vehicle and camping gear, and get ready for one ripper of a weekend. Embrace this once-a-year-only opportunity to ride alongside legends of the sport, industry types, Pro riders and punters, young moto punks and old trail masters – an eclectic mix of man and machine; a broad cross-section of the Australian off-road community.
Ironman and Team-of-Four tickets will be on sale early next week (between February 13 and 17, with a specific date and time to be confirmed later this week). Stay tuned to www.transmoto.com.au for more information, and be on the look-out for Transmoto’s brand new events website being launched this week.
