2015 MX NATIONALS: ROUND 9 REVIEW

Round nine of the MX Nationals championship hit the red rolling clay of Toowoomba’s Echo Valley circuit and it proved to be a happy hunting ground for Yamaha’s Kade Mosig, Jay Wilson, Wilson Todd and Hunter Lawrence who all finished on top of the box.

CDR Yamaha’s Kade Mosig made it two round wins in a row for the factory Yamaha MX1 team proving his round victory at Appin earlier in the season was no fluke as he dominated the proceedings at Toowoomba on a rough, rutty and challenging circuit. Adam Monea grabbed 2nd place overall and Ben Townley returned to podium at Toowoomba claiming third overall.

Jay Wilson extended his lead in the MX2 class taking his first round win of the year with a 3-1 performance. Wilson now sits 21 points clear of his nearest rival Luke Clout with the Coolum grand finale on this weekend. Takeshi Katsuya raced to 2nd place overall, with Caleb Ward going home with 3rd place overall.

Wilson Todd carries a 22 point lead into the final round after his round victory in Toowoomba in the MXD category. Todd raced well for his 1-2 results achieving 1st overall. Jayden Rykers placed 2nd and Jesse Madden took 3rd place.
