The Young Guns Series

GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac were left to step up and earn points following Justin Bogle’s nasty crash at Hangtown, which resulted in surgery. Young Gun Tomac felt right at home on the track, snatching up the fastest time during qualifying. Stormy conditions lead to heavy rain and strong winds, but that didn’t stop “Hurricane Bam Bam” Barcia, who scored a first moto win and holeshot, and a second place finish in moto two, giving him the overall first place win.
