BioTearoffs coming to Oz

Gas Imports are brining an all-new biodegradable tearoff to Australia that is said to give you clear vision and won’t breakdown under normal usage.

The inherent stability of BioTearOffs means you’ll get high clarity and a rigid and stable product.

The BioTearOffs allegedly degrade quicker at a motocross or off-road facility due to a number of environmental factors. These include:

Constant mechanical activity, such as:
Tilling by tractors, mechanical breakdown by the “shredding” action of tires

Heavy moisture/ High Humidity conditions:
Tracks and race courses are often heavily watered and remain moist for significant amounts of time.

Burial/ Mulching:
Tracks rarely remain in the same configurations. Tearoffs that have been buried will be “mulched” when track formations change.

BioTearOffs have 90% degradation in under 180 days under ideal circumstances. In Gas Imports personal testing, this time frame has been very accurate for MX and off-road racing facilities.

The BioTearOffs contain noO petroleum products and are made from non-food renewable resources. They do not contain any metals and degrade into elements found in nature and CO2.

Available for Goggles: SPY, THOR, Scott, Fox, Oakley, Smith, Eks, Pro-Grip, Dragon
